We are currently recruiting for a Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join a RIBA Chartered Practice that is located in Central Harrogate – placed opposite the train station, making the Practice highly accessible for commuters. The Practice has over 50 members of staff and has recently expanded their office, obtaining more space to include additional meetings rooms, booths, and break-out space.

This well-informed, vibrant practice pride themselves in the ability to build professional rapport with their clients, hence 75% of their workload is from repeat business. The practice has a family-feel working environment, with people being the heart of everything they do. The enthusiastic team has a strong emphasis on collaborative nature, but also focus on the balance of socialising – they are thinking of adding a staff bar!

As a Part 2 Architectural Assistant, you will get a personal mentor who will support you in completing your part 3 – likely to be a senior architect or associate – this practice take delight in aiding Graduates to achieve their personal and professional goals.

You will gain the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from industrial, retail, commercial to high rise residential schemes – not limited to just one sector! You will be expected to prepare drawings and other documentation as part of a tender package, liaise with building control to ensure construction drawings comply with building regulations as part of RIBA Stage 4.

The Position: Part 2 Architectural Assistant

* Experience in utilising Revit and the latest BIM software.

* Help out Senior Architects / Associates in projects such as retail, industrial, commercial, and high-rise residential sectors.

* Develop drawings, specifications, and other documentation as part of a tender package.

* Liaise with building control to be aware of construction drawings complying with building regulations.

* Knowledge of building regulations.

The salary for this position is £23K – £27K (DOE).
