Senior Womenswear & Print Designer – Maternity Cover Contract

An established womenswear brand renowned for its prints and trendy collections is currently recruiting for Senior Designer with strong print design skills to join their design team on a maternity cover contract.
As a Senior Womenswear Designer you will be an important part of their established creative team reporting directly to the Creative Director. You will be responsible for designing creative collections and prints, working closely with the production team. You will attend trade shows, fashion events and international inspirational trips, and will take leadership of photoshoots and the creation of look-books. Working closely with external agencies, suppliers and factories to source fabrics and attend development meetings.
The ideal applicant must be working as a Senior Print Designer or womenswear designer with print design experience working for a high street fashion retailer or fashion supplier. Possessing exceptional print and multi-product design skills with trend-led handwriting. You must be an excellent communicator (verbal & written), demonstrating strong presentation skills with strong CAD and I.T skills using Microsoft Office and Adobe programs. Previous experience working with UK and international suppliers and factories, exceptional fabric and garment construction knowledge is highly essential along with experience working within a team and independently.
