Job Type : Permanent, Full Time

Salary : £25000 – £30000/annum

Our client based in Headcorn are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and proactive new staff member to join their busy team as a Kitchen Designer.

The purpose of the Kitchen Designer is to provide a 5* design service, primarily working behind the scenes generating new, accurate, desirable kitchen plans, there is the option to progress to Design Project Manager and take on customer accounts. The Kitchen Designer will need to be hardworking with a can-do attitude that isn’t limited to “9-5” and provide a lot of attention to detail with the ability to convert orders with ease.

The duties of the role will include:

Translate architect drawings to a prescribed brief or suggest a suitable brief based on plans provided

Manage your projects from start to finish to meet client expectations

Multiple plot, site design and quoting

Produce beautiful, appropriate kitchen designs

Generate repeat business

The suitable kitchen designer for the role will have the following skills/experience:

· Previous kitchen design experience (minimum 3 years preferred)

· Project management experience (not essential but desirable)

· Previous experience within the B2B sector

· Able to self-manage and be highly organised

· Keen to keep on top of industry design trends

· Previous experience using Winner & EQ Software (not essential but desirable)

· Work well alone in a busy environment

· Excellent attention to detail

· Excellent customer service

The extras:

· Full time office/showroom-based position with some travel to site for check measure (pool car provided)

· 37.5 hour week (flexi hours to cover customer requirements)

· £25,000 – £30,000

· Full drivers license

· 25 days holiday + bank holidays (with full Christmas shutdown)
