As the Head of Technology, you will work within the management team, leading Architects and Technicians through all RIBA work stages as the company looks to provide attractive functional buildings performing successfully for their clients. Coming from a Senior Architectural Technologist background you will have the ability to ensure that the appropriate materials are used and that the buildings are in accordance with the relevant regulations. You will also monitor quality, costs and deadlines throughout the construction projects. With responsibility for setting the standard of output within the team.

The role works within the senior management team with responsibility for clients and their portfolios, including direct involvement in technical team resourcing and delivery with minimal supervision.

Head of Technology Requirements:

Min 10 years' experience in architectural practice, with experience of direct client liaison and responsibility for project delivery
Ability to demonstrate the standards defined by CIAT
Good project management and organisation skills able to manage multiple projects at different RIBA work stages 0 – 7
Experience within the Extra-Care sector (desirable)
Experience in managing a team, programming of resource, with responsibility for team delivery
Exposure to internal financial management of a project
Understand how the design aspects of a construction project influence and relate to performance and functional issues
Experience and understanding of building regulations, robust details, BREEAM, CDM and other guidance and regulations
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit (essential 5+ years), NBS Specification Manager (desirable) and Sketch Up
Excellent communication skills
Full UK driving licence

The successful Senior Architectural Technologist who steps into the Head of Technology role will receive a highly competitive salary likely to be in the range of £50-£55k dependant on experience as well as the following fantastic benefits:
