Pure Executive are delighted to be supporting the CEO and their team in recruiting this critical position. The Finance Director leads on the overall financial management of, and business planning for, Norwich Theatre and also acts as Company Secretary for the Norwich Theatre group of companies and leads and oversees IT for the organisation. This role is a member of the Executive Team who support the Chief Executive in the overall running of the organisation.
After meeting with Stephen Crocker, the CEO, we learnt about the exciting times ahead for the Theatre. To deliver a charitable purpose, it is essential the organisation is proactive in maximising commercial opportunities. As such, not only are we looking for a technically competent Accountant, we are also looking for somebody who is passionate about the purpose, with strong commercial acumen to implement ideas and deliver strategic goals maximising performance.
In addition to being a qualified accountant with strong commercial acumen, you will have outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills. We are looking for candidates capable of providing the CEO and Board with robust financial insight to support decision making. You will be able to demonstrate the skills required to review business cases, negotiate supplier contracts, pull together bids, raise funding, and develop a robust control and governance framework.
