I am searching for a Design Manager to join a growing pet product company, based in South East London, with a focus on sustainable products and healthy food for your four-legged friends.
They have a great range of food that is sustainably packaged and contains healthy and nutritious ingredients for dogs. An accessory range includes bowls, scoops, mats, trays, and beds for cats and dogs, robust toys produced from environmentally friendly and renewable materials. They also have a line of dispensers and biodegradable dog waste bags. So I would say that they cover products on the front end and back end of the market.
We are looking for candidates with an interesting consumer design background from household products or potentially fashion, with an eye on the environmental impact of products and sustainable materials. This would suit a Lead Designer or a Manager to work with them to push their product ranges further. A background in the design of products that are aesthetically pleasing, possibly a lifestyle product would be a great fit for the current team. The pet industry in the UK is very active, interesting, and fast-moving. If you have a passion for dogs, that would be great, if you're an owner even better as you will be able to take them to work.
