NRL’s client based in Dalry, Ayrshire is looking to recruit a Design Safety Lead – HAZOP, for a 6 month contract on a PAYE or Umbrella basis.
About the role:

A Senior HAZOP Chairperson role to support one of our clients in Ayrshire.
The role is anticipated to be for 6 months and will require an experienced individual to facilitate HAZOP reviews for our client. These reviews may be completed remotely and / or in person at our client’s facilities.
The individual should understand the HAZOP process and will be able to facilitate the completion of HAZOP reviews.
This includes:

Experience of both remote HAZOP reviews and in person reviews will be required.
Aligning with client HAZOP procedures and practices. A thorough understanding of the HAZOP process is required to ensure an effective review is completed.
Ensuring that multi-discipline personnel are in attendance and present as required by process systems and/or scope.
Ensuring appropriate documentation is provided and included in the HAZOP report to support the review process.
Experience guiding HAZOP participants to clear conclusions on causes, hazards, safeguards, event frequencies, etc. Can guide the HAZOP team to conclusions on consequences and likelihood using client risk assessment methodologies.
Ensuring the quality of recorded information is correct and complete.
Providing the HAZOP report which will fully document the process, attendees, nodes, completed HAZOP worksheets, and all supporting documentation used to complete the HAZOP.
Knowledge of the client processes and the systems being reviewed would be an advantage.
