Salary : £28000 – £32000/annum

Packaging Planner – 1 year maternity cover

4 days working from home, 1 day office based in City of London

Salary £26-32K dependant on experience

Hours 9am-6pm

Company – A leading global supplier of design-to-print brand development products and services with presence in London, Yorkshire, Hong Kong and India.

Overview – Manage the on-time delivery of Own Brand packaging artworks to suppliers, in line with product launch critical path. Establish and maintain positive, friendly client relationships whilst working closely with production sites to ensure information transfer and job delivery are seamless parts of the customer experience. Ensure that all work delivered meets with client expectations.

Role:

Build and sustain a strong relationship with the Category, Buying operations, Quality & technical teams and the Studio.
Manage client expectations by providing regular project updates.
Work as an extension of the client's team.
Build trust through proactiveness, technical support and effort.
Be approachable at all times with a willingness to listen and solve issues.
Adopt a 'can do' attitude at all times.
Consistently strive to exceed expectations.
Be commercially aware at all times.
Act at Brand Guardian for the client (for copy, imagery, colours etc.)
Responsible and accountable for all artwork projects within their category area, ensuring that projects are managed in a professional and timely manner.
Ownership of high profile projects and brand redesigns.
Host meetings with the client internal teams, providing accurate minutes including actions.
Liaise with client photo studio to acquire packaging photography where required.
Ensure relevant information is shared with internal client teams.
Use creative judgement to make recommendations.
Provide support to ensure Style Guides are accurate before the start of the season.
Carry out store audits where required.
Manage wet proof approval process.
Help promote a quality culture, and performance improvement, throughout the business.
Information Management
Brief information into the Studio teams, ensuring data gathered up front is complete and accurate.
Prioritise workload through production, liaising closely with the Studio Team.
Raise any issues immediately whether client, production or team related, to the Team Leader.
Constantly strive for right first time and cost/time reduction.

Requirements:

Good knowledge of design, retail, brand and packaging.
Knowledge of print or repro i.e. flexo, litho, gravure print processes
Strong organisational skills along with ability to multitask.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Good attention to detail.
Flexible and hardworking.
A team player, with an efficient and proactive approach.
Smart appearance and professional attitude.
Approachable and trustworthy.
PC literate – Google suite, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat.
