Conrad Consulting, in partnership with one of the UK's most reputable Architectural Practices are currently recruiting for an experienced Architectural Technologist to work on a variety of exciting schemes, within their Birmingham office.

This company have an excellent, long-standing reputation across their regional offices, this esteemed Practice have established themselves as one of the UK's premium Architectural brands. With an extensive client base and well-structured senior management team with an ambitious business plan to execute this really is an opportunistic time to join them on their journey. Their current vacancy would be best for an experienced (5 years minimum) "nuts and bolts" Senior Technologist with exposure to working on a wide range of projects, specific current project demands are within the Industrial and Manufacturing sectors, however with various other revenue streams such as Residential, Commercial and Education you will not be pigeon holed into working in one set sector. They are looking for a meticulous detailer and an individual who prides themselves on ensuring every piece of work with their name on is produced to an impeccable standard. The practice are pretty much REVIT based so a good working knowledge is highly desirable alongside having worked on live projects to BIM level 2 standard.

To be considered for this role we would hope applicants meet the following Criteria

At least 5 years of experience in an Architectural Practice background

Experience in Industrial & Manufacturing, or Residential is desirable

Recognisable qualification such as a Degree in Architectural technology or an HND in Building Studies

Experience of delivering projects at construction stage

Strong technical expertise related to design and construction

Very good Revit skills, and a good working knowledge of AutoCAD

Able to audit the design and identify inconsistencies, discrepancies and missing information and record, report and track the close out of these items

Good knowledge of UK Building Regulations and the Planning / Building Regulations application process

Experience in leading meetings on site with the client, design and contractor team
