Architectural Technician – House Developer
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £30000 – £34000/annum
A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced Architectural Technician to join a growing Housing Developer with a burgeoning reputation for delivering contemporary high-quality developments with traditional character.
We require an adept Architectural Technician with demonstrable UK industry experience within the Residential sector to come on board and become an important member of the design team. The successful Architectural Technician will work closely with the Technical Design Manager to produce building control and construction drawings including technical details as well as liaise with Site Managers and produce information to support construction.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an established yet expanding business. They have recently built brand new offices close to Saffron Walden and are enjoying a period of growth with a number of new developments in progress.
Architectural Technician requirements:
Relevant Architectural qualification desirable
Min 2 years UK Architecture industry experience within Residential sector
Experience producing building control and construction information
Good technical knowledge and understanding of the UK Building Regulations
Knowledge of ArchiCAD preferred but not essential
Works well independently or as part of a larger team
Timber frame experience would be beneficial
Must be willing to conduct site visits or attend meetings when required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Full driving license and own transport essential due to rural location
The successful Architectural Technician can expect to receive a highly competitive salary, likely to be in the region of £30-£34k dependant on experience.
