Graphic & Web Designer
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £25000 – £27000/annum
A fantastic opportunity has opened up for an experienced graphic designer to work with an established and successful company based in central Aylesbury. In order to be considered, you will need to have a minimum of 2 years commercial experience as a designer and have experience of building responsive web pages and producing printed content.
The candidate’s duties will be:
* Creating ‘high resolution’ print-ready artwork for product brochures, leaflets, magazine advertisements, external signage etc.
* Product Photography
* Creating responsive email marketing campaigns to be sent on a fortnightly basis
* Creating and updating website content such as advertising banners and product pages
* Managing website and content
* Creative writing for product descriptions
The ideal candidate must:
* Be proficient with use of Adobe design software (Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator)
* Have a solid understanding of responsive web design using HTML5 and CSS3
* Have the ability to design web layouts using Bootstrap
* Have knowledge of PHP and MVC Frameworks such as Zend Framework (not mandatory)
* Experience with web hosting environments (i.e. the L.A.M.P stack) (not mandatory)
* Experience with SEO techniques (not mandatory)
You will:
* Have the ability to work to deadlines and prioritize
* Have good communication skills
* Be highly organised with an eye for detail
* Have good IT skills in Excel and Outlook
* Be organised, presentable and good at multitasking
Working hours: 08:30-17:00 – Monday to Friday
Salary: £25,000-£27,000 Per annum (depends on experience)
20 days holiday + bank holidays, Pension scheme
