Salary : £30000 – £35000/annum

We are recruiting for a Landscape Architect to join its creative and passionate team based in Northampton.
Our Client is an innovative solution provider, working with clients across the UK that include the major house builders and commercial developers offering a bespoke landscaping design service for both new build and renewal projects across the Residential, Commercial, Parks and Urban Landscaping sectors.
As the Landscape Architect your duties will include:
* Preparing soft landscape schemes for residential developments and supporting planning information including management plans and tree protection drawings.
* Creating hard and soft designs for show home complexes.
* Quantifying soft landscape schemes by others for estimation.
* Supporting senior colleagues in the promotion and development of the design department with prospective clients.
* Liaising with colleagues, external clients, attending site visits and meetings as required.
* Preparing sketches, conceptual plans and graphical imagery.
* Mentoring junior members of the team as required.
* Focusing on the preparation of planning application material for the outline and detailed schemes for residential housing developments.
The Landscape Architect you will have the following skills and experience:
* Be a Chartered Landscape Architect.
* Have good technical and analytical skills for LVIA, Master Planning, Design and Access Statements, Design Briefs and other outline planning information.
* Have experience in preparing sketches, conceptual plans and graphical imagery, a sound knowledge of plants and be happy to attend site visits and client meetings as required.
* The ability to prepare soft landscape schemes for residential developments and the supporting planning information including management plans and tree protection drawings.
* Experience of creating hard and soft designs for show home complexes.
* Extensive plant knowledge.
* A good working knowledge of software such as KeySCAPE / LandCADD (AutoCAD), Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop and Sketchup.
* A background in LVIA assessments and the production of outline planning documentation.
* Be reliable, committed, willing and able to go the extra mile, have good written, numerical and communication skills along with a full UK driving licence.
* Have a natural flair for design and be able to combine attention to detail with creative thinking.
* Have proven experience in detailed design with a solid foundation in a similar role or in environmental planning.
In return, the Architect will receive a competitive salary of up to £35,000 per year which is negotiable based on experience / Chartership progress and the opportunity to join a well-established company that has a high number of project wins and is well placed to continue to grow over the coming years
