Salary : £45000 – £50000/annum

Exclusively available through Conrad Consulting, Associate Architect required to join an award winning medium sized Practice in Sheffield to spearhead the delivery of a stunning portfolio of projects from RIBA stage 4 onwards. The most pressing project being a large build-rent project, (500 unit £60m construction value) other exciting schemes include a net zero office building and various mixed-use regeneration projects.

You will be immediately immersed into a Practice famed for their striking and award-winning design portfolio, they are predominantly developer focussed within the Residential markets to include High Rise City centre Living, Bespoke Residential and Student Accommodation, a good majority of these have a zero carbon footprint. Additionally, our client are also well known for their work in the Commercial sectors to include Workplace, Mixed Use and some industrial schemes.

The Practice are of medium size (20+) and have a welcoming contemporary open plan studio space in the heart of Sheffield and Manchester City, they are a true multi-disciplinary practice with specialist in house divisions sitting alongside their Architects & Designers. They also boast a bespoke division which purely specialises in luxury residential projects both large and small, this has recently featured on Chanel 4's long standing programme grand designs.

Associate Architect Requirements.

You will be operating at Senior / Associate Architect level Ideally a proven job-runner with circa 7-10 years' experience (although this is open to a degree of flexibility), an effective communicator and a lead-figure in the office. Someone with a proven track-record of completed projects within the Residential / mixed use living sectors sectors and a portfolio to match. Project work is completed primarily using REVIT, so it is essential for candidates to display some level of experience in this area. You will also be required to take on team leadership responsibilities, the successful Senior Architect will be expected to manage and offer mentorship support to a small team of 3-4 people.

Responsibilities of the Associate Architect

* Provide design and technical leadership for the successful delivery major projects

* Lead, manage and inspire a team by demonstrating the highest design standards and skills

* Ensure design responses are of the highest standard and exceed the client expectations

* Development of the design culture and capability of our design team(s)

* Develop and sustaining relationships with existing and new clients

Skills & Experience

* Seasoned ARB/RIBA Project Architect from an Architectural Practice background operating at a Senior / Associate level.
* Proven track record of completed projects within the living sector

* Excellent communication skills: Written & Verbal.
* Team management experience.
* On-site delivery experience.
* REVIT & AutoCAD fluency.

The salary on offer for this position is between £45,000 – £50,000 per annum + generous benefits package and fluid agile working model.
