Job Type : Permanent, Full Time

Salary : £21000 – £23000/annum

My client manages a well established and highly reputable Printing and Marketing company in Waterlooville. They are looking to recruit an experienced Print Operator and Finisher to join the small team asap. If you can engage in the preparation, print and finishing of all printed media and are looking for a new opportunity then this could be ideal for you.
The main duties are –
– Ensure Products are manufactured to a high standard with quality control expectations met.
– Ensure products that require additional finishing's are delivered to the following Dept. In good time for manufacture.
– Assist with stock management, Monthly stock takes and goods ordering based on minimum order pre-sets.
– Fitting spare parts that are operator friendly after breakdown.
– Preventative maintenance and general cleaning of all machines and workspaces.
– Liaison and updates with the supervisor or Production Planner on job progress.
– Highlighting machine related, departmental and general issues and informing Supervisor of said issues.
The ideal candidate will –
– Have strong work experience within a Print Operator and Finisher role.
– Your knowledge of the print software and hardware should be of a good standard to enable its productivity, efficient and safe use.
– Be able to maintain the hardware within the guidelines of the machine supplier.
– Be able to communicate promptly and clearly when technical issues beyond your skill level.
– Strong Communication skills.
This job is Permanent and offers 40 hours a week Monday to Friday. In return you will be offered a salary of up to £23k pa DOE, auto enrolment Pension scheme, Annual Company bonus, Uniform provided and free parking.
