Salary : £40000 – £45000/annum

Salary £40,000 to 45,000 + company allowance and 20% bonus of base salary

This is an exciting and newly created role to join a highly successful Account Management team in Milton Keynes. Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and planning skills are essential as well as the ability to develop new ideas and build and maintain constructive business relationships.
Experience within the Games, Toy, Stationery, Art and Craft categories is a key essential.
You will play a pivotal role and will be responsible for nurturing and developing customer relationships whilst driving the commercial agenda to ensure that sales growth and margin targets are maximised .
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers
* Identifying and visiting potential customers to prospect for new business UK wide
* Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales
* Gathering market and customer information
* Representing the Company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
* Negotiating variations in price, delivery and specifications
* Reviewing own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets
* Gaining a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements
* Making accurate cost calculations and providing customers with quotations
* Creating and presenting winning proposals
* Leading cross-functional internal meetings to develop products to defined specifications that satisfy both company and customer expectations.
In addition to this the following skills are essential to succeed in this role:-
* A successful track record of profitable sales delivery ideally in the FMCG sector.
* Strong commercial acumen.
* Ability to negotiate at all levels.
* Target-driven achiever.
* Excellent presentation & communication skills.
* Must be organised and be able to work to tight deadlines.
* Excellent people management and skills – being able to develop strong internal & external relationships.
* Have strong analytical skills.
* Proficient IT skills.
* Excellent Project Management Skills.
