Job Purpose
Our purpose is changing places, creating better futures. Our Digital Content Trainee will work as part of the Communications/HR team.
You'll assist the team to deliver on effective employee engagement, external communications and the company Responsible Business ambitions by driving greater interest in the St. Modwen product whilst raising and protecting the profile of the brand.
The person
As the Digital Content Trainee here at St. Modwen, you'll strive to develop effective working relationships with key stakeholders enabling the Comms team to work collaboratively with the wider business alongside multi-disciplined external project teams.
You will also support across a broad range of employee engagement, and external communications as well as Responsible Business activities to deliver strategic objectives against People Plan.
Key Accountabilities
• Supporting the communications team to produce content across all internal and external channels
• Writing copy for various channels where the voice and tone is representative of the St.Modwen brand
• Production of digital content for Social media including Facebook/Instagram/Linkedin pages
• Production of digital content utilised for employee engagement such as intranet posts, yammar, videos etc
• Support with development and maintenance of digital platforms including corporate website and intranet
• Support Early Careers and Future Skills advisors with internal and external events to help drive engagement
• Review of current collateral, evaluate effectiveness and identify future improvement
• Support the HR team in digitising employee engagement where required and on an adhoc basis
• General administrative support to the team to support day to day activities and project plans
Experience Skills and Knowledge Required
• A willingness to develop Digital Content capability across various projects
• Understanding how to reach varying audiences through tone and style
• Knowledge and understanding of web based platforms
• An understanding and appetite to learn communication and technical skills
• Good communication skills
• Self-motivated to work on
• Full valid Driving Licence preferable but not essential
• Ability to work as part of a small team and make a positive impact
