We are excited to be recruiting exclusively for a Graphic Designer, on behalf of a global market leader in the DIY arts and crafts marketplace, with the company designing, manufacturing and distributing the finest products to the creative industry. As Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for the creation of graphics for use across brand websites, the design and creation of newsletters, dynamic landing pages with interactive content, and printed literature for all marketing events. As Creative Designer, you will have strong design skills and be passionate about international craft markets. The Role:

This pivotal role involves working as part of the Marketing team and alongside the Ecommerce Team Leader to implement online marketing strategies. Day to day you would work within your team to ensure web and print campaigns are created and submitted to timelines set by the Head of Global Creative Direction. This is an exciting opportunity, and we are keen to appoint an individual who can demonstrate strong design experience, possess an understanding of digital marketing and who has a passion for online and digital developments.

Key Responsibilities:

Creation of graphics for use across brand websites
Design and creation of newsletters, dynamic landing pages and interactive content
Design printed literature for all marketing events – trade shows, customer support etc
Complete regular website audits to make suggestions for improvement considering UI and UX
Cover and maintenance of websites including updating banners, changing and building dynamic pages, etc
Implementation and development of SEO strategies / campaigns
General website admin duties
Maintenance to all brand websites
Providing creative marketing support for POS material and other printed requirements
Photographing products/projects for use online and in print
Supports links between web site and social media
Creating new branding proposals for current or potential new brands
Make recommendations for potential improvements to current and future web and print marketing campaigns
Implementing interactive content across all comms channels
Schedule newsletter communications and manage workflows through email marketing system
Researching new opportunities and developments considering both web and social media

Essential Skills:

Bright graduate or equivalent experience within web/print design
Strong IT literacy, Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to analyse and identify digital trends and make recommendations
Good organisational and prioritisation skills
Excellent Attention to Detail
Self-motivated, eager to develop, team-player, good communicator
Strong working knowledge of HTML and CSS
Working knowledge/understanding of SEO implementation
Adobe Creative Suite including Dreamweaver, Indesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
Movie editing and experience on Final Cut Pro is advantageous
Work experience in the Arts and Crafts industry is preferred
