Excellent opportunity for a Senior Architect to join a passionate and innovative architectural practice based within walking distance of Birmingham city centre.
The practice have had an excellent 2021, enjoying a period of sustainable growth with a number of key appointments made within the business. A RIBA chartered, Senior Architect with is now required to join the office with a view to further growth heading in to 2022. You will be tasked with leading projects and growing a small team of Architectural Assistants and Recently Qualified Architects on a number of new commissions.
Routes through to Associate level and beyond are a very real possibility for the Senior Architect fulfilling this role, as the practice like to promote from within. This is an excellent time to be joining a practice that are known for their friendly office atmosphere and dedication to the architectural field.
About the practice:
> RIBA Chartered, multiple awards won.
> Based near the city centre, close to major rail links which makes the commute doable from those travelling from outside of Birmingham
> Current team of over 20 in the office, with a healthy mix of senior, intermediate and junior members of staff.
> Projects are varied, but tend to be in the residential, commercial and education sectors.
> Revit software used throughout, with many projects being work on at BIM Level 2 (training provided on this if necessary).
> The practice also have strong ties to local Universities, regularly offering support as visiting critics and tutors, something they encourage staff members to take an active role in.
So, what are the practice looking for in a Senior Architect?:
> A RIBA chartered, ARB registered Architect with over 5 years of post qualification experience.
> Demonstrable experience of working in varied sectors, ideally in areas such as; Education, Residential, Commercial and Industrial schemes (not all required).
> An individual with a passion for design and architecture as a whole.
> An Architect that has run projects from concept to completion whilst leading a small team of Architectural Assistants.
> A Senior Architect that has the ambition to progress through the practice in the senior management positions.
In return, the successful Senior Architect will receive a salary in the region of £38,000-£44,000 per annum dependant on experience, alongside a competitive benefits package.
