Conrad Consulting are delighted to be working with one of Nottingham's most prominent Architectural practices, seeking an experienced Senior Architectural Technician to join their office in the city centre.
The Practice
The practice are nearing on their 30 year anniversary, in which time they have developed from a small, one man band, all the way through to now being one of the most established architectural practices in Nottinghamshire. With a team of around 30 members of staff made up of talented and experienced Architects, Technologists, Assistants and Interior Designers, the practice offer and deliver award-winning projects and services across a number of different sectors.
Project types tend to range in value from the small scale £250k, through to the large scale £50m+ region, spanning across a range of sectors including; Education, Commercial, Residential, Student Accommodation, Extra Care and more. As a Senior Architectural Technician, you will be presented with the opportunity to work on a diverse project portfolio, with current workload focused within the Student Accommodation, Hospitality and Residential sectors.
The Role – Senior Architectural Technician
The role on offer within this practice is for a Senior Architectural Technician with a wide ranging background and technical experience across a range of sectors and project types. You will ideally also hold experience of being the Technical lead on large scale developments, which will have seen you being the client contact along with being a team lead.
There are several multi-million pound developments ongoing that require a strong Senior Architectural Technician to come in and be the technical lead, with projects within the Student Accommodation and Hospitality sectors being key. Mixed-Use/High Rise residential experience would be looked upon very favourably.
Given the size and scale of the projects being worked on, Revit proficiency will be a key component to any Senior Architectural Technician applying to this position.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills Required
Senior Architectural Technician with at least 8-10 years of industry experience.
Possess experience in a range of sectors and project types.
Proficiency in the use of Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD and the Adobe Suite.
Comfortable in a Technical lead position. being client facing and with the ability to lead a small team of Technicians.
Strong communicative skills, both written and verbal.
Eligibility to work within the UK is essential
In return, you will be offered a competitive salary and benefits package dependant on experience, likely to be in the region of £36,000-£45,000 per annum.
