I am searching for a Supply Chain expert with international logistics experience to join an exciting and transforming team of new talent to provide leadership to the global supply chain requirements of an iconic fashion brand. You will have a hands-on approach to take on this senior role within a fast-paced but close-knit culture, working internationally to take full ownership of global supply chain from PO placement to fulfilment, optimising costs to meet the ambitions of the brand and overall business goals.
Managing a spend of £15-20m with a logistics & distribution budget of £4-5m and around 5,000 SKU's, you will have international experience, preferably within Asia, and report to the Global Supply Chain & IT Director and have two direct reports. The role is currently fully remote, with HO in London, but will include large amounts of travel within the UK and internationally, with global DC's in the UK and HK.
Role Responsibilities:
Manage E2E supply chain strategy, optimising costs, data and product flows to maximise growth and efficiency.
Oversee 3PL's and global import/export logistics and customs/duty requirements to ensure compliance as well as supporting sourcing function in duty and freight arrangements.
Represent Supply Chain department at multi-disciplinary meetings using commercial and technical expertise to inform business decisions.
Manage two direct reports, Operations Manager (UK) and Logistics Controller (HK).
Key Skills & Experience:
International trade experience (suppliers are China, India, Cambodia, and Vietnam) and knowledge in global logistics, 3PL management, and heading up supply chain strategy and optimisation.
Strong leadership skills and experience developing and mentoring a team to high standards, with a global mindset, working across counties and cultures.
Ideally a fast fashion background or similar paced organisation understanding the complexity of multi-product/category portfolios and fulfilment in an omni-channel sales environment.
