Our Milton Keynes-based client is looking to recruit an In House Graphic Designer to join their team, so we are keen to speak with people with design experience.
Position: In House Graphic Designer
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm
Location: The role will be fully office based in Milton Keynes
Salary: DOE
The job will involve….
Act as brand guardian across all brands within the business.
Design point of sale items from concept through to the finished product and all intermediate stages and working with the directors for design approvals
Design product packaging from concept to print ready artwork, the design will initially be based on existing brand and guidelines but there will be a focus on improving
Visualisation and mock-ups – produce graphic and physical examples of products and site installations
Produce specification sheets, product labels and product instructions
Undertake advertising and promotional design for online, print, and promotional products from concept to production ready artwork
Undertake photography of product packaging for use in marketing and sales collateral
Photo retouching and image editing
Produce signage, exhibition graphic and event posters
Fulfil customer and retailer design requests
Work closely with international factories and teams on packaging and artwork requirements
Assist with website updates (WordPress)
Manage and keep up to date the in–house image library
Maintain in-house CI/branding and collateral
Work with marketing team to supply marketing material, both printed and online
Print procurement – source providers and maintain up-to-date knowledge of prices, materials, processes, and deadlines/delivery, as required
The person will….
Have experience in Adobe Creative Suite with a focus in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
Basic Microsoft office, including excel
Have knowledge of print design and processes
Knowledge of WordPress is preferred, but not essential
Strong attention to detail
Must be able to work effectively and cross-functionally across all teams and departments
