Part II Assistants
Part II assistants are a mixed bag with some highly talented and experienced individuals who are Architects but for the ability to legitimately use the title against those at earlier stages of their career who will undertake Part III at some stage. The former are always of interest where they have 3yrs+ experience and can demonstrate good RIBA 1-4 experience. Younger candidates with less experience will be considered where their portfolio and/or experience is of a higher than average standard. Experienced candidates can expect to be offered opportunities akin to Architects with younger candidates generally working under others on medium and high profile schemes and empowered to lead smaller low profile projects to aid their development.
Essential Attributes: Min. Part II Qualified, RIBA Stage 1-3 Experience in Practice, demonstrable concept design skill, ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desired Attributes: RIBA Stage 4 experience in practice, Experience submitting planning applications, experience submitting building regulations applications, tender packages and construction packages, experience producing design & access statements, potential for future career progression into more senior roles, Prior BIM Project experience
