Senior Architectural Technologist

Salary : £38000 – £42000/annum
Senior Architectural Technologist required for an 16 strong established Architectural & Masterplanning Practice based in Leeds City centre.
Our client founded almost 20 years ago is spearheaded by hands on Directors who have all previously worked within large Commercial Practices, subsequently they have established a business that offers clients he best of both worlds.
They have big projects experience and have delivered various Commercial Projects to include – Retail Buildings, Offices and Education commissions, whilst retaining a small and niche practice feel by delivering one off High Builds, Residential Conversions / refurbishments and Interiors solutions.
To join this fabulous modern Practice the Architectural Technologist will be required to be a professionally qualified Architectural Technician/Technologist (CIAT/MCIAT) with a minimum of 7 years post qualification experience. You will have experience in delivering and managing large scale commercial, residential and public sector projects. You will lead a small team of architectural and technical staff and will be responsible for the day to day coordination and delivery of a number of challenging high profile projects. You will have an acute understanding of construction detailing, materials and the preparation of comprehensive drawing packages. The ideal candidate will be a competent Autodesk Revit user and will be able to demonstrate their experience of collaborative working with other professionals in a BIM Level 02 model environment, some previous demonstrable job running and site delivery experience would also be highly advantageous.
You will be joining without doubt, one of the go to practices in the Leeds Architecture scene currently and be immersed in a series of projects that will be landscape defining and potentially future award winning. Our client offers flexible working hours to accommodate childcare and personal preference, however collaboration is at their core and as such they are keen to secure the services of a suitably experienced Architectural Technologist who is keen to be studio based full time.
Salary commensurate with relevant experience between £38,000 – £42,000 per annum + Benefits.
