Architectural Technologist
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £25000 – £35000/annum DOE
I am on the lookout for an Architectural Technologist to join an award-winning Architectural practice that is based in Harrogate.
For over 30 years, this RIBA chartered practice has designed innovative, creative, and practical solutions for a full and varied range of clients and corporate bodies. This smaller Architectural practice employs 5 members of staff.
They specialise in the Residential sector and take on bespoke projects which vary in scales and budgets. As well as this, the Architectural practice also takes on commercial and community projects across various sectors which include retail, office, and education.
Software-wise, they utilise AutoCAD LT as their main application, so having experience in this will be highly beneficial.
The ideal candidate will have experience in domestic construction detailing and be able to work autonomously in the preparation of Stage 4 – building regulations, tender drawings, and specifications. Having some on-site experience and running projects will also be highly advantageous. Ideally, obtain recent experience in small to medium scale domestic projects at RIBA Stages 4-6.
The Role: Architectural Technologist
Knowledge of the entire RIBA Stages, especially 4-6
Experienced in domestic construction detailing
Building regulations, tender packages, and specifications
Have on-site experience
Liaise with building contractors, private clients, structural engineers etc.
AutoCAD LT The salary for this position is dependent on experience and ranges from £25,000 – £35,000.
