Due to continued growth our client is looking for a Furniture / Product Designer to be based out of their North London showroom. As a business who specialises in the design and manufacturing of a range of hospitality, office furniture with clients across the world.
Our client is keen on experience from Furniture Design, Product Design and Commercial Interiors. As you will be customer facing it is vital that you have a friendly persona and are confident talking and selling our clients products and services.
Furniture / Product Designer will be responsible for:
* Creating production drawings / visuals for manufacturing
* Working on special / bespoke product for existing & future Global clients.
* Developing future products for the group
* Needs to be a good communicator, liaising with clients, manufacturing, and suppliers
* Research design issues and provide solutions
* The ability to absorb a brief and present back design proposals
* Needs to be able to self-manage several projects simultaneously
* To work closely with a multi-site design team
* Client and customer facing
* Showroom design and layout
Furniture / Product Designer requirements:
* Qualification in Furniture Design / Manufacture to HND or Degree level or similar
* Good knowledge of AutoCAD or SolidWorks for producing working drawings
* Experience of furniture production methods and materials
* Furniture design experience
* 2D & 3D CAD experience
Furniture / Product Designer will be paid between 30-35k depending upon experience
