The Company Manager is a key role providing the link between the creatives and actors and our in-house team for our Made In Northampton productions. They will manage the stage management team and the rehearsal process, including the touring of our productions. You must have proven stage management experience in a producing theatre, have excellent project management and organisational skills and be a great communicator.

Job Purpose

To manage the Stage Management Department and Rehearsal Process for Royal & Derngate's own productions and productions in which Royal & Derngate have an interest, including touring.

Essential Skills

Experience

Extensive Professional experience working at a senior level in Stage Management in producing theatre
Experience of supervising and running technical rehearsals, dress rehearsals and performances
Experience of budgeting and schedulingKnowledge

Knowledge and experience in the finding and purchasing of properties, furnishings and other items.
Full driving licence
Health & Safety practices
Passion for, understanding and commitment to live performance

Proven ability to manage and motivate staff
Proven ability to plan, schedule and manage the output of a stage management team

Experience

Experience of touring and moving shows between venues

Successfully completed a recognised Stage Management Training course
A working knowledge of AutoCad
Working in producing theatre company, and/or Repertory theatre systemSkills/Abilities
