We are recruiting for a Document Controller to undertake a temporary assignment for a minimum of 2 months at one of our construction clients in Quinton, Birmingham. They are a fantastic organisation who are the UK's leading specialist building envelope contractor, and the only company of their kind to be totally focused on meeting the needs of the UK market.

This is a temporary role starting as soon as possible for a minimum of 2 months, with the potential to extend. You will be working Monday-Friday 8am-5pm and be working at their offices in Quinton. There may be the possibility of working from home one day per week. Hourly pay rate for this role is £12.02-£14.43 per hour dependant on experience. Document controller experience within the construction industry would be preferential. You will be providing support to the various Departments of the Company in document control, with particular emphasis on electronic or web based document repositories that are linked to the Companies Contracts or tender opportunities.

Main Duties:

Working within the Design Department to download from various Internet based or electronic drawing repositories such drawings and/or documents as are required for a specific tender or contract.
The issue to Customers of output from the Design Department either manually or by electronic upload together with maintenance of the required design information systems.
From time to time carry out related functions as may be required by any of the Companies Directors.
Issue by electronic means or by hard copy original, updated and modified drawings and documents, to the Companies Customers, following review as is appropriate.
Undertake other duties and ad hoc projects as required by the business
Act in accordance with company policies and procedures, particularly with reference to Diversity practices

Attend training as required and develop relevant knowledge and skills
