Success Recruit are currently working with a Global Distributor within the construction industry who are seeking to recruit a Trainee Graphic Designer to join their growing and well-established team based in Central Essex.
The successful Trainee Graphic Designer will be an integral part of the marketing team, responsible for all design support with content in visual, written, video or audio formats that are relevant for different audiences and channels in the group.
The successful Trainee Graphic Designer will be expected to:
* Graduated or similar in Graphic Design competent in Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, illustrator & InDesign
* Enjoy learning & developing with create visual, written, video and audio content
* Be a strong team player, working within an experienced team
* Have strong attention to detail

Job Description
The Trainee Graphic Designer will work closely with the Design Team Leader, under the leadership of the Marketing Manager. The purpose of the role is to increase the marketing departments capacity to meet design requirements, supporting the existing Graphic Designers with day-to-day tasks such as sales literature, photo editing and social media content.
Duties to include but not limited to:
* Using industry software such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator to create visual designs.
* Working with creative colleagues such as social media experts to provide graphic design support.
* Support the graphic designer with a range of design tasks such as sales literature, photo editing, social media content and other miscellaneous design tasks.
* Ensuring that branding and design work is aligned across all methods of communication.
* Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work.
* Demonstrating illustrative skills with rough sketches and working on layouts ready for print.
* Assist with the collation of information and media for promotional literature.
* Improve and maintain good organisation of the company’s media libraries and design files.
* Support the sales team with ad hoc design and photographic requirements

Hours:
Monday to Friday – 8.00am – 4.30pm (2 Days Office, 3 Days Home)
