Intermediate level Architectural Technologist with at least 2 years experienced is required for a growing multi-disciplinary Architectural & Engineering Consultancy based in Shipley, West Yorkshire.

Our client has traditionally delivered large commercial projects to clients in the Retail, Industrial and Logistical Industries across the whole of the UK, due to successfully diversifying into new markets within the regeneration and residential sectors they are continuing to expand their design teams. About the Intermediate Architectural Technologist role…

As part of a wider technical delivery team, the Architectural Technologist will be delivering both commercial and residential projects through planning, technical delivery stages and then onsite to completion. Required is someone with good REVIT skills with an all-round technically sound knowledge of producing detailed drawing packages. Supporting the Associate Directors you will promote the highest standards of design & technical solutions with the use of client and the companies exceptionally high design standards. The successful Architectural Technologist must have a detailed knowledge of all current Building Regulations and associated legislation along with a sound knowledge of all forms of construction, you must also be able to demonstrate previous job running experience, be highly self-motivated and have a minimum of 2 years Architectural practice experience.

Other duties of the Intermediate Architectural Technologist include

Produce working drawings for pricing and construction purposes from planning drawings/tender packages supplied by key clients
Produce working drawings for pricing and construction
Obtain Building Regulation approval with approve inspector
Ensure Building Regulation conditions are discharged promptly
Liaise with client to enable discharge of planning conditions
Liaise with all external consultants
Liaise with site and questions arising from work progressing on site
To be considered you must be able to demonstrate your previous experience with examples of work with an Architectural Technology degree or Technician HND and with a minimum of 2 years' experience with cross sector experience within your portfolio.
