Woodrow Mercer are delighted to be partner with a renowned Management Consultancy looking to hire Senior – Lead User Researchers into multiple teams across the business.

Following the pandemic, the business has been undergoing a company wide digital transformation moving from waterfall to agile ways of working. This transformation has opened up huge recruitment opportunity to increase their already well establish UX offering across the business with exciting projects primarily in the HR, Finance and Digital Collaboration space.

The are looking to bring in expert UX Designers with a minimum of 5 years experience to work within multi-disciplinary agile teams focused on defining and driving user experience across the assigned projects

You will primarily be responsible for the below two key things:

Collaborating with Product Owners for the creation of UX design
Working together with the wider team for the execution of design vision and illustrating how the user experience journey improves over time
As well as:

Driving and synthesizing customer discovery and understanding
Conducting contextual interviews, job shadows and usability studies
Facilitate design thinking and working sessions
Create user journeys, service blueprints, process flows, information architecture diagrams, wireframes, prototypes or other artefacts required
Work with other UX Design professionals to establish and document best practices
Develop sustainable and effective mechanisms for evaluating delivered solutions
Your Experience/Attributes

Comfortable jumping straight into the wide range of design tasks
Previous experience working as part od a globally dispersed team
A minimum of five years working as a UX designer solving complex problems and working in complex spaces
Strong interaction design skills and a deep understanding of how to meet user needs and solve user problems
Happy to work within an agile environment having also done this in prior experience
Understands the fundamental importance of research and analysis to support their design process
Understands the necessity of research analysis being outcome-oriented
Business know-how, understanding business metrics and company goals
Comfortable liaising with the leadership team
Storytelling ability through design in a language that is appropriate with the audience
Understand the importance of being a credible design authority
Ability to evidence the contributions that your designs have achieved
A curious but pragmatic mindset
An outcome orientated individual
Able to commute to central London 2 days per week, 3 days remote
