An award-winning VFX Studio in London are on the lookout for a number of experienced FX TDs to join the team on a freelance contract basis for their upcoming feature film.
The Company
With studios across the globe, the client in question are a key player in the VFX industry, working across award-winning TV and film, creating stunning visual effects. They utilise the latest technology to produce striking environments and photoreal characters and creatures.
FX TD Role
You will be part of a talented creative team, working in a highly collaborative manner to achieve the polished result that the end clients are looking for. You will be responsible for providing expert knowledge of creating effects such as explosions, smoke and water to be used by the VFX team for complex animations.
FX TD Requirements
Good commercial experience working on high-profile TV/Film
Strong portfolio of previous experience, demonstrating smoke/water/explosions etc.
Keen eye for detail and a good sense of timing
Expert knowledge of Houdini
Good problem solver
Experience working with teams
The interview process will likely be one stage with a VFX Supervisor and Talent Manager, who will consider your background and portfolio with respect to the above requirements.
In return, you will receive a daily rate of £275 – £350 per day (DOE) and the chance to work on some incredibly exciting projects. This contract is Outside IR35 and can offer remote working.
