Conrad Consulting are delighted to be working alongside one of the UK's largest Engineering & Design companies, recruiting for a BIM Manager to join their UK operations. This is a predominantly remote based position, but with the need to be close to one of the many offices throughout the UK.

A BIM Manager is now required to lead UK operations in regards to all things BIM. This will include being responsible for the implementation, management and delivery of BIM at a Business Unit Level including the line management and technical management of BIM resources. The successful candidate will need to apply the BIM processes and be capable of establishing an implementing a BIM execution plan, and a delivery strategy in conjunction with a client and delivery team.

The projects you will operate upon will fall within the Local Government & Defence sector and so it is ESSENTIAL that you can demonstrate UK experience within BIM Management in these sectors to be considered for the position!

Key responsibilities of the BIM Manager include the following:

Work in collaboration with other design disciplines applying BIM solutions to ensure the integrity of the overall design.

Maintain strong working relationships with aligned resources.

Oversee the operational workload of the BIM resource including sub-contractors, ensuring BIM work is allocated appropriately and BIM resources are fully utilised.

Ensure compliance with BIM standards, both localised and national.

Provide technical advice to team members to support them in their delivery on the project and in their professional development.

Qualifications of the BIM Manager:

Hold a degree and/or qualification in a relevant technical subject including elements of Modelling

Have achieved Engineering/Architectural background though a recognised professional institution.

Hold substantial relevant experience in design, drafting or engineering and BIM within UK Local Government & Defence sector.
