Interior Designer
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £35000 – £45000/annum
Brookwood are currently looking an experienced Interior Designer to work for an Internationally acclaimed design studio based in London. This leading studio specialises in luxury commercial projects, combining innovative design with technical feasibility, for the creation of projects ranging in scale, from visionary masterplans to carefully curated interiors and products. The successful candidate will be part of a design team which focuses on the interior planning and design of high-profile retail projects.
About the Role:
– Working on luxury retail projects from concept to detailed interiors
– Prepare, develop, and edit, under the guidance of the project leader, concepts, drawings, 3D visuals and other documents relating to the design, in Rhino, Autocad, Adobe Suite or through other appropriate media
– Being responsible for projects from conception to completion
– Working with architectural finishes and fabrics to create robust design schemes
– Develop representations of design options confidently for further discussion by the project team
– Contribute and assist Senior Designers in the design and production of proposals
About the Candidate:
– Experience on luxury commercial with focus on retail projects
– Strong visual and story-telling skills
– Excellent knowledge of Rhino, Autocad and Photoshop is preferred
– Extensive knowledge of materials, textures and finishes
– Experience on delivering neat, clear and accurate design information and schedules
– High-level knowledge of joinery and detailing
– Excellent communications skills and good team player
– Experience on FF&E delivery is a plus
