I am currently seeking an enthusiastic qualified Architect to join a well-immersed Architectural Practice located in Exeter.
This RIBA Chartered Practice is one of Exeter’s leading independent architectural practices that has been practising in the Southwest for 30 years, delivering practical and imaginative design. They employ over 24 members of staff.
Projects wise, they work within a variety of sectors from education, commercial, conservation, healthcare, housing to emergency services, just to name a few.
Their company has constantly maintained its ethos which is based on gaining a detailed understanding of the needs of clients, imaginative but well-grounded design solutions, recognition of environmental responsibilities, and regular review and updating of office practices.
As an Architect, you will be expected to obtain strong technical ability and have recently experienced full BIM using ArchiCAD. Previous use of Vectorworks 2D is beneficial as this company used to utilise this software but have recently taken on ArchiCAD as their main software.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to think creatively and have a strong interest in concept and detail design. Obtaining good knowledge of construction detailing will be highly beneficial too. You will also be expected to be highly engaged, motivated, and enthusiastic and assist others where appropriate.
