Sales Consultant & Soft Furnishings Specialist

Full Time / Permanent Role

Hours per Week: Tues – Sat 9am – 5pm

£25,000 – £30,000 basic + commission

Plus holidays & pension

Our client is looking for a candidate who has passion and ambition to work in a well-established soft furnishing business in the Redland area of Bristol. The business has been operating for over 25 years in Coldharbour Road.

You will require interpersonal skills which will involve responding to enquiries via telephone, email, meeting & greeting customers who come into the shop and occasionally visiting clients’ homes.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a soft furnishings, furniture, or an interior design environment with knowledge of fabrics, bespoke furniture and curtains & blinds. You will also require the following:

Skills:

Be computer literate and able to pick up technical knowledge regarding internet software currently used by the business, such as Google Drive / Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to think independently, making responsible & creative decisions where needed
Excellent attention to detail and eye for accuracy
You're someone who genuinely enjoys interaction with clients and can demonstrate outstanding levels of customer service
A driven sales person mentality, someone who thrives on working to, and exceeding, sales targets
Must possess excellent communication skills both oral and written.
Be organised and structured – demonstrate ability to prioritize work
Excellent attention to detail
Previous experience working specifically with trade/B2B clients would be an advantage
Key Responsibilities: 

Build and maintain lasting relationships with clients
Working collaboratively with the work shop to ensure you're well informed of progress and can effectively communicate client requirements
Responding to clients in a timely manner, liaising in person, over the phone and via email
Perform some administrative duties, including data entry and diary maintenance
