Roma Black is working on behalf of a highly established design consultancy who are specialist in high-end marine interior design projects. They are looking for a Mid-weight FF&E Designer to join their organization.
This role requires a passionate and enthusiastic individual with excellent attention to detail. The ability to work at a fast pace is essential in this role along with impeccable research, organization, and communication skills.
The ideal candidate will have considerable experience in FF&E, including being skilled in delivery of FF&E packages on projects.

Day to day responsibilities
Working at a Mid-weight level within a project, working to specific deadlines and budgets
Attend project/client meetings to be briefed on new projects
Procurement of FF&E products where required
Mentoring and supporting Junior FF&E Designers
Attend project meetings and give input on developing concepts, suggesting suitable finishes and fabrics where applicable
Produce FF&E presentations and packs for client meetings, guided by the Senior FF&E Designer
Nurture relationships with suppliers and suggest new contacts, keep up to date with new advancements within FF&E
Experience:
Ability to create conceptual designs including the skill of using colour and texture
Some skill in the Adobe Creative Suite and possibly EstiMac or EstiPC
Excellent knowledge of FF&E selection (materials, finishes, detailing and scheduling)
Some experience in using CAD software
Knowledge of Studio software would be advantageous
Demonstrable experience of producing FF&E specifications with costings, materials, finishes, and sanitary schedules
Educated to degree level or equivalent experience

Self-confident and receptive to constructive feedback
Ability to manage your own time well
