Techniche are supporting a South Coast Marine Manufacturer who specialise in the design and production of Luxury vessels.
Due to expansion and an increase in orders our client is seeking an experienced Marine Designer to join their team. The role will cover full project design covering all aspects of vessel specification. Experience in Motor Yacht, Sailing Yacht, Commercial Vessel or Pleasure Craft design is essential for this role.
The project scope is primarily bespoke, on-off specifications. Materials, designs and concepts are to an extremely high specification with unique elements. These can be challenging, but very rewarding marine engineering projects.
Experience required:
* Ideally a minimum of 5 years experience in Vessel design & engineering.
* Qualified to Degree level in either Mechanical, Design, Marine or related engineering disciplines.
* Recent experience with 3D & 2D CAD packages. (Any of the following: AutoCAD, Rhinoceros, OnShape, SolidWorks etc)
* Experience of working in a collaborate design environment with excellent team working and communication skills.
