3-month contract Outside IR35 – User Researcher

I’m currently recruiting for a User Researcher to work within a fast-paced design agency. You will be responsible for helping to design and conduct a wide variety of qualitative research projects, with a focus on digital environments and user experience (UX). Your success will be the delivery of projects on time and within budget.

What skills and experience are required of the User Researcher?

Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, Anthropology, Product Design, or related fields, or relevant professional experience
5+ recent years’ experience of working within a creative design agency
Works well under pressure within fast-paced environments
Service design experience, including service mapping
Excellent communication and written skills
What will your day to day look like as a User Researcher?

Working in multidisciplinary teams to plan and execute research across all stages of the design process
Help plan fieldwork in collaboration with our clients and the wider insight team, and help collate, analyse, and present the findings once the research has been conducted.
Run consumer workshops, testing and interviews to interpretation, analysis and debriefs, the role requires an understanding of good research practice and experience of conducting face-to-face research projects.
Producing high-quality deliverables that translate research findings into compelling and actionable insights
