Superb opportunity here for a Senior Architectural Technologist to join a successful and independent architectural practice, based in their offices in Market Harborough.

The practice are one of the longest standing architectural firms in the Leicestershire region, having been established for over 40 years, establishing an enviable client base and boasting a varied project portfolio. Project types and sectors work within can be varied, but predominantly centre around Healthcare & Residential schemes. Other areas include; care homes, conservation and commercial projects. The Role – Senior Architectural Technologist
The role on offer with this practice is for a Senior Architectural Technologist with approximately 5-10+ years of industry experience to join them on a permanent basis. You will ideally have experience of working in a variety of sectors, with Healthcare and Residential being high on the priority list.
The day to day responsibilities of this position as a Senior Architectural Technologist will see you working on projects autonomously, absorbing a project yourself, managing the technical design process and managing co-ordination with clients/contractors. This therefore ties in with someone of an experience level that can "hit the ground running" and requires little supervision.
The practice use ArchiCAD as their main software package. Proficiency in ArchiCAD would be highly beneficial, but isn't necessarily essential as training can be provided.
The practice promote themselves on an inclusive place to work, with everyone within the company preferring to work in an office environment full time. The practice have "pool laptops" where the occasional day working from home can be allowed for extenuating circumstances.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills Required
Hold a degree in Architectural Technology or equivalent.
Approximately 5-10+ years of post qualification experience, ideally with a good number of those years spent working within the Residential and/or Healthcare sectors.
Proficiency in the use of ArchiCAD software.
Strong technical ability and experience in working drawing packages in the aforementioned sectors/project types.
In return, you will be offered a competitive salary and benefits package dependant on experience, likely to be in the region of £36,000-£42,000 per annum.
