Salary : £46000 – £48000/annum

Senior / Associate level Architect required to join an established medium sized Architectural Practice to spearhead a variety of large scale projects in the Education sector. The role is based in their Chesterfield studio and the practice operates a fully agile flexible working policy with home working available several days per week.

Boasting an impressive and diverse project portfolio across several sectors nationally our client have established an excellent reputation for seeing through projects from inception to completion. Whilst the Practice boast an impressive cross sector track record of successful commissions they are best known for their work in the Education, Residential, Workplace, Defence and Commercial sectors. The focus of this Associate hire is to secure someone who can take a lead on various secondary Education schemes which are awarded through various frameworks.

They are now looking to bolster their various growing design teams with the addition of a capable Associate level Architect with excellent REVIT capabilities, the work is a mixture of conceptual master planning and early stage design, through to technical delivery.

Ideally you will have in the region of 7-10 years post qualification experience and be accomplished at working across all RIBA stages of work with a particular focus on securing someone who excels at the front end stages of projects, excellent contemporary design flair and imagination is fundamental. The Associate will have previous management experience and have successfully led various project delivery teams. A track record of leading on some major schemes from £30m plus in value from inception to completion is also fundamental.

The Associate Architect will also have the following

* ARB/RIBA Qualified Project Architect.

* Minimum 7-10 years post qualification experience.

* Excellent Communication/Presentation skills.

*Excellent conceptual design skills and management of projects to planning stages.

* Sound knowledge of current UK legislation.

* REVIT software proficient.

* Hand-Drawing/Sketching skills would be advantageous.

* Particular experience within the Education sectors.

*Management experience, leading project teams.
