Salary : £18000 – £22000/annum

We are on the lookout for a Junior Architectural Technician to join an established Architectural Practice located in Exeter. This firm employs over 30 members of staff across 3 offices in the UK and 6 team members in their Exeter office. A Driver’s license is preferred due to the remote location of the office.

They work on a variety of projects within the hotel, residential, commercial and leisure sectors. This RIBA Chartered practice is comprised of qualified Architects, Interior Designers and Architectural Technicians and pride themselves in their high-quality design, underpinned with consistency and commercial reality.

As their projects are partner-led, their leadership team is directly involved in projects from RIBA stages 1–6. Over the years, they have built a strong reputation, whilst recognizing repeat business as a crucial part of the company – they have acknowledged that repeat business is a true testament to the trust their clients place in them.

Due to their growing workload, they are seeking a Junior Architectural Technician to join them in creating high-quality designs for their clients. As a Junior Architectural Technician, you will gain the opportunity to work within the Hotel sector and work together with a Senior Architect/Director in order to enhance your Architectural knowledge and understanding. The ideal candidate will have some experience working within an Architectural practice and has some knowledge of Vectorworks – this is not essential as they can offer training.

The role: Junior Architectural Technician

* Experience in using Vectorworks – not essential but is beneficial.

* Able to work on your own as well as part of a team.

* A driver’s license is preferred due to the remote location of the office.

* Able to communicate effectively to liaise with team and business professionals.

* Self-motivated and enthusiastic to enhance Architectural knowledge.

The salary: £18K – £22K (DOE).
