ROLE PURPOSE
The overall purpose of this role is to improve the organization’s market position and achieve financial growth by building up key customer relationships, identifying business opportunities in both direct sales and via the dealer network. To achieve this the Area Sales Manager needs to find potential new customers/dealers but also develop existing customers/dealers to expand territory business. The Area Sales Manager works closely together with the UK Sales Manager and Market Support Team.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Manage and develop a sales territory
•Build sales volume and product mix through exceptional business development and customer service
•Build relationships with new and existing dealers/customers to achieve set growth objectives
•Build up strong relationships with Market Support Department.
•Build and develop a strong local marketing plan within the designated territory
•Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.
•Submit weekly progress reports to the Sales Manager and ensure data in CRM systems is correct.
•Present product/business development training and mentoring to (potential) clients.
•Review and appraise the dealer network performance.
•Be part of the company growth and strategic plans.
•Look for potential partners to widen business activities.
•Cooperate with other departments to fulfil assigned tasks.
