(Design & Build Residential – up to £45k plus package – DOE )

My client is an established Design & Build Design practice working on private residential. This is an exciting opportunity for an Architectural Designer who is keen to utilise their current experience and manage their own projects by providing clients with a consistently reputable service.
Responsibilities
Develop project briefs and work on these as the project progresses prepare / present design proposals using AutoCAD Software
Local Planning Authorities, liaising and updating drawing packages
Liaise with appropriate authorities (local planning authority and building inspectors) when producing documentation for statutory approval
Creating concept, technical and tender designs
Creating high-end drawing and design plans for construction projects
Lead the detailed design process and coordinate design information
Produce, analyse and advise on detailed specifications for suitable materials or processes to be used
Carry out design-stage risk assessments
Assist in the administering contracts and project certifications
Obtain feedback from clients and people using the design, and report on the performance of the contractors and consultants
Attributes we require:
3 plus years working on similar projects
Leadership skills and a willingness to take on responsibility
Good communication skills, as interaction with other professionals, authorities and clients will take place on a regular basis
The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
A logical and practical approach as well as an ability to solve problems
Time management and ability to prioritise workloads
Attention to detail and design
