My client is one of the UKs leading environmental companies, successfully delivering multidisciplinary projects to their clients. They are a forward-thinking, environmental company built on passion, expertise, and enthusiasm towards creating a better world for all.
Due to continuous growth, my client is looking for highly motivated and dynamic ecologists within Basingstoke or Milton Keynes, looking to progress their careers within an ambitious environmental consultancy.
Some existing ongoing projects currently underway for my client include East West Rail, Network Rail, and land development.
The role:
Perfect position for an experienced Arboricultural Consultant who is looking to be involved in the delivery of projects for both internal and external clients and supporting the growing portfolio of projects.
All aspects of the surveying and preparation of development related tree reports to BS5837:2012.
Using digital data capture for survey work (OTISS training will be provided).
Preparing drawings and reports using Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, BricsCAD and QArb software.
Delivery of small and large scale "Duty of Care" tree surveys.
Adhering to agreed deadlines.What we're looking for:
A minimum of Level 3 Arboricultural qualification (or equivalent).
Extensive experience of writing tree works specification and report writing.
Proficient tree identification skills.
In-depth understanding of arboriculture that includes delivering BS5837.
Proficient use of Microsoft Office Applications.
Full UK Driving LicenceDesirable Skills/Experience:
Strong interpersonal skills allowing for effective working relationships with colleagues and clients to be built/maintained.
Hold an industry recognised tree assessment qualification such as Professional Inspection Certificate PTI or QTRA.
Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, BricsCAD and OTISS data capture.
