At Swarco we work across the Parking and E-Mobility sector, with our products in a broad range of Customer sites around the UK and Europe.
APT Skidata, one of our divisions, develop, install and maintain complex Car Park Ticketing and People Access Systems. These systems are present in hundreds of shopping centres, airports and city centre car parks throughout the country and are connected by networked IT systems and hosted on a range of servers.
We are looking for an Application Support Technician to help with queries from our customers and field engineers and provide resource for projects and issues.
Role and Responsibilities:
* Technical application support for a range of customers, engineers and operatives
* Logging and responding to calls to provide the most appropriate and timely solutions relating to our platforms
* Attend site to assist with installations as needed
* To plan/take ownership in software updates as required
* To take part in the technical call out rota
We are looking for a mix of the following:
* Network configuration and associated technology knowledge
* Working SQL knowledge (Query writing etc)
* Active Directory skills
* Virtualisation and VMware etc
* Experience of remote support
* Excellent all round computer literacy including spreadsheets etc
* Experience integrating and supporting hardware and software based systems
