The Role
We have an opportunity for an experienced Android App Developer to lead the development of our native Android platform implementation. We are looking for an exceptional hands on developer and confident leader who can deliver native Android applications, interact with teams, assess product requirements and expertly manage the planning and implementation.
Our aim is to improve the world’s mental health and make therapy more accessible, affordable and engaging, empowering people with the tools to self-manage their conditions.
Responsibilities
• Assist in the process implementation of our SDLC
• Write clear and documented code
• Deliver outstanding UX
• Generate ideas for continuous improvement
Skills Required
• 3+ years of experience specialising in Android Development
• Java or Kotlin as well as Dart/Flutter
• Good understanding of Android APIs
• UX design and accessibility
• Interfacing to back end services
• Experience in customer facing commercial applications
• Portfolio of developed applications to be provided
• Debugging experience
Additional Experience Advantageous
• App optimisation and performance tuning
• Git
• Gradle
• Go
• Docker
• Firebase / Firestore
This is a full-time salaried position with flexible working arrangements and remote working
