Our customer is an industry leading air conditioning and refrigeration specialist, and due to expansion across several of their portfolios they are now in the market for a senior mobile air conditioning service engineer to join their very well established and reputable fleet across the East Midlands.
The ideal candidate will come from a technical background, ideally from either an air conditioning manufacturer or air conditioning specialist background and should be F-Gas & City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 qualified in air conditioning & refrigeration, or similar. Our client operates across a wide array of environments including supermarkets, commercial, MOD, retail & industrial, and work on most leading manufacturing equipment, so a good all-round understanding of various air conditioning and refrigeration units is essential.
Our client has been a market leader in their field for many decades now and one of the many secrets to their success is their impressive staff retention rate, with many people having worked in the business for over a decade, some of whom over 30-35 years.
The opportunity will be to geographically cover the East Midlands on a mobile basis where a vehicle, fuel card, and full door-to-door travel is on offer. There is a 1:4 on-call rota that will also accrue an additional income, as a minimum of 4 hours is paid for any call outs plus door-to-door travel. The salary range on offer is £36,000 – £38,000 however the OTE can easily reach £50,000+.
