Agricultural Technician
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £10 – £14.50/hour
Our established client is looking to recruit an experienced technician for it's workshop in Carlisle. You'll be supporting the needs of customers as well as internal teams across a full product range including – Massey Ferguson, krone, Weidemann, Ovlac, Teagle.
Working with an established team of agricultural staff, you'll be involved in all aspects of work within the service department including:
* Supporting new and used equipment both in depot and on site
* Machine PDI and prep
* general service and repairs
* Customer liaison
Useful skills and experience:
* Knowledge of agricultural industry and machinery
* Proven track record in a technical role (full product training provided)
* Diagnosing and repairing faults in all machinery, plant and equipment
* Installing and handing over machinery
* Repairs to hydraulic and electrical systems
This is a permanent role, offering long term career prospects.
Hours of work: Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm (some overtime included which may include Saturday mornings and some on call)
