With the Workshop in Shefford, this position is for an Agricultural Service Engineer to work for a supplier of high specification, self-propelled sprayers, tractors and most other agricultural implements and equipment. Either a Specialist Agricultural Service Engineer or someone with hands on experience with farm equipment and tractors, we need to hear from you. The perfect opportunity to work with all the top brands in Agricultural machinery. As the new Agricultural Service Engineer, you could be working on Fendt, Challenger and Rogator Sprayers as well as other Agricultural machinery.

Joining a small team of Agricultural Service Engineers, you will be trained as as an Agricultural Service Engineers. 1/3 of your time in the workshop and the rest on site with the customers. As you get more experience, you will have the opertunity to specialise. Becoming a Senior Agricultural Service Engineer / Combine specialist or sprayer specilaist.

As the new Agricultural Service Engineer, you will be setting up and personalising new machinery before delivery to customers. Going out on site for servicing and breakdowns. Other Agricultural Service Engineer jobs include but are not limited to:

· Overhaul and repair of second-hand machines

· Finding any faults, ensuring that they are reported and rectified

· Servicing of agricultural machinery

· Working with other team members, sharing knowledge and experience

· Dealing with any warranty repairs and ensuring that any paperwork relating to the claim is completed in the correct fashion

If you haven't come from a farming background, we are happy to look at new Agricultural Service Engineer's from a similar background. Such as service and maintenance of HGV/large vehicles.

This is a permanent position for an Agricultural Service Engineer and the working hours will be 8am to 1630pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 1530pm on a Friday. There is loads of overtime available. You will be provided with a phone and van and fuel card.

Agricultural Service Engineer's here earn an above average hourly rate, depending on your experience, plus overtime rates at T1/2 and DT. Company vehicle, on going training, fuel card and other perks.
