Agricultural Service Engineer need in Barnack, Stamford. Not far from Peterborough. This supplier of high specification self-propelled sprayers, tractors, combines, drills and most other agricultural implements and equipment is looking for a Specialist Agricultural Service Engineer /Technician. They specialise in high end new and used machinery specifically, Fendt, Challenger and Rogator Sprayers.
Joining a small team of Agricultural Service Engineers, you will will have the opportunity to either become a specialist agricultural service technician for Sprayers / Combines or being a generalist Agricultural Service Engineer. As an Agricultural Service Engineer aprox 1/3 of your time in the workshop and the rest on site with the customers.
The Agricultural Service Engineers set up and personalise new machinery before delivery to customers, going out on site for servicing and breakdown. Other duties as the new Agricultural Service Engineer include but aren't limited to:
Agricultural Service Engineer
· Overhaul and repair of second-hand machines
· Finding any faults, ensuring that they are reported and rectified
· Servicing of agricultural machinery
· Working with other team members, sharing knowledge and experience
· Dealing with any warranty repairs and ensuring that any paperwork relating to the claim is completed in the correct fashion
A permanent position for an Agricultural Service Engineer, the working hours will be 8am to 1630pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 1530pm on a Friday. There is loads of overtime available. As the new Agricultural Service Engineer you will be provided with a highly competitive salary package, van and fuel card.
Agricultural Service Engineer's are rewarded depending on experience. Overtime rates are T1/2 and DT.
